The EP “Jump out of burning cars” can be seen as a multi-layered response to our digitally colonized minds and toxic transformational processes exploding in your face. Electronic. Industrial. Recycled voices. Words in vacuum.

Even if you are not ready to hear it, it holds you by the teeth. Torn between an auditive desire and disgust, between disturbance and sweet surrender. The song-like structures almost make you move, feel even comfortable, but soon, the raw and honest texts pull you into a vacuum. Hanging on the edge of a broken future, you instantly resonate with the dystopian, scattered poetry, just to connect with something. Apocalyptic synths mix with well-defined, dense beats, industrial sharpness mingle with soft basses. The heavily manipulated vocals of SHAPE+ artist Thea Soti give an extra layer to the album, pushing you into a reality that you have always known, but never completely wanted to admit.

The album was created through a creative studio process, where crushed passages of raw improvisation collided with intelligently produced digital elements - thus preserving the characteristic, eruptive energy of the trio’s live shows. The trio - based between Cologne, Copenhagen and Paris - unites experimental vocalist Thea Soti, drummer and producer Anthony Greminger and pianist, improviser Darius Heid. The EP has been co-produced and mixed by Jérémy Michel from low man's land studio.
